The zbugs app gets an icon: the Zero logo from zero.rocicorp.dev (/images/logo.svg), as an Icon Composer document (App/AppIcon.icon) for iOS 26 and macOS 26.

  • Light mode: the site's dark mark (#1E1E1E) on white.
  • Dark mode: its light mark (#E1E1E1) on black, as in the site's dark theme.
  • Tinted icons: a white mark on black, so the system tint keeps it legible.

The mark is the site's two SVG paths at 54% of the canvas, as in its dark-theme logo. The system applies the shape and glass.

I tried an asset catalog first. Its iOS icon was fine, but macOS 26 shrank the Mac icon, drawn on the old rounded-square grid, onto a grey plate in the Dock. The .icon file fills the Dock tile like Apple's icons do.

Checked on a macOS 26 Mac with Xcode 26.6:

  • Release builds for macOS and the iOS Simulator pass.
  • Assets.car carries light, dark, and tintable variants on both platforms.
  • Screenshots of the iOS home screen in light mode and the macOS Dock.
  • ictool renders of the Default, Dark, TintedDark, and TintedLight renditions.

No changeset: zbugs-swift isn't published.

The Zero logo from zero.rocicorp.dev, as an Icon Composer document for
iOS 26 and macOS 26: its dark mark on white in light mode, its light mark
on black in dark mode, and a white mark for tinted icons. An asset catalog
icon drawn on the old macOS grid was shrunk onto a grey plate in the
macOS 26 Dock; the .icon file takes the system's shape.
